          The product is great when compared to a glass aquarium. The only down sides are the lamp, the filter attachment, and the feeding hood. I was expecting an actual lamp system, but I used the lamp from my old aquarium in its place. The filter attachment was a little small for a large filter, but with some elbow greese and some underwater accembly that was taken care of without damaging the aquarium. The feeding hood has a plastic bar seperating one side from the other. This is fine as long as the fish don't get too hudge. I have a growing koi fish and I'm afraid it might get too big for the opening one day.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            I think this is a great tank for someone who is just getting into keeping larger fish and aquariums. The acrylic is lighter than glass and provides for better visibility. The only drawback is that the lid doesn't open like a regular tank.

              This acquarium is an upgrade gift to my kids.
              They love watching the mini-eco system in this new seamless acrylic acquarium. The acrylic eliminates the fear of broken glass from an over-zealous toddler. It also provides a more atractive display.
