Things to keep in mind:
The tall but very narrow shaped tank is less than ideal, and too small for most fish. You will be limited to guppies, platies, any fish that doesn't get over 2" fully grown, and no more than 5 total.

The small surface area of water-to-air restricts the amount of water oxygenation, so use the air bubbler to help with this. The small amount of water it holds makes the quality of it critical, since fish can quickly turn it into a poisonous self-contained tank much faster than a larger tank. The less water, the less forgiving it is, so it will not be almost maintenece-free as the book suggests. I have only two small platys and must do 25% - 50% fresh water exchanges twice weekly to keep the nitrates and ammonia from reaching toxic levels.

That said, yes I like it. but for the money I wish I had bought a bigger aquarium.

I love this so much that I bought my son one for his home. Have had mine for almost 2 yrs and nothing has gone wrong with it. Everyone compliments us on how unique it is. A great product
