Venturi Protein Aquarium Skimmer

This product was designed for use in a UniQuarium. It does fit nicely into the design of the UniQuarium, but it just does not work well. The design of the collection cup is so poor that I could never collect any skimate. I had an older skimmer which used an airstone running at the same time downstream and it did collect skimate. Another big problem is that too many bubble would go out the bottom of the skimmer and float up to the surface of the water. The bubbles would then pop and create a salty mist. Also, the powerhead was just as noisy as the pump on my old airstone skimmer.
